What’s New?
On Monday, October 21st, between 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm, the Information Technology Team along with staff from other ECN institutions, are replacing network equipment for the NB/PEI Education Computer Network.
Who’s Impacted?
During this time, users at the St. Andrews campus will experience an interruption in network services as the maintenance takes place. As a result of this necessary maintenance, IT services will be unavailable, including:
· Teams Calling (VoIP telephone services and Teams meetings)
· All Microsoft 365 services (Teams messaging, email, OneDrive, etc.)
· NBCC’s wireless (eduroam) and wired networks
· Printing
· NBCC@work Intranet access
· SIMS access
· Student Self Service
· D2L Brightspace
· Both NBCC and non-NBCC websites (Google, Facebook, etc.)
No email or voicemail messages will be lost during the outage. All email and voicemail messages will be put in a queue and delivered when services are restored.
Secure door access will not be impacted.
During this time, in the case of an emergency on the St. Andrews campus, please use a cell phone or a dedicated line, such as at the security desk, to dial 911.
